Close up detail of Hut 54, one of the freshly painted beach huts sitting in warm autumn sunshine, just back from the promenade and shingle at Felpham Beach in West Sussex, England.

Superb detail. I love the colors and the small hand made hut number. Well seen.

un taglio deciso, come molto decisi sono i colori di questo soggetto, che si ampliano con il blu intenso del cielo, il tutto viene ingentilito dal disegno con il numero.
Un bel colpo d'occhio, la foto colpisce immediatamente l'attenzione.

lovely use of the graphic shapes to compose a cracking shot where the colour combination also plays an important part.
A most enjoyable shot to start the week.
Have a good one,

Number 54 painting on a small nice plaque, the yellow and blue colours care for a nice simple picture.
Excellent composition, nice presentation.
Very well done, TFS.

A cleverly composed image that makes full use of the graphical lines on hand and the whole enhanced by lovely saturated colours and superb lighting.

un joli N° 54 avec des couleurs éclatantes et des contrastes qui mettent en valeur le côté graphique. Une belle photo.
CLODO (32556) 2014-06-30 8:09
nice bookmark to celebrate Greece! This cannot be taken in UK, the sky is too blue, contrasting well with the yellow hut

Another Brian Denton beach hut classic - I guess you have totally cornered the market on these shots! Always a pleasure to see how you abstract interesting graphical shapes and details from these scenes in such good light. A graphic design undercurrent that suggests to me that you are an excellent architectural photographer too!

ah yes, the Classic styles of Timecapturer :)
we can all recognize this scene from miles away as yours.
it may look simple at the outset, but its actually a great photo showing wonderful lines. Vertical, horizontal, curves lines, its quite nice.
love the color pallete too.
enjoy your day

"Gropey!" Here it is the end of my day, and I'm still laughing about that one. :) Call me crazy, but I get the impression it suits you just right. lol
Good to hear you're already feeling better, life is much more enjoyable on the top side, yeah? You should really put together a collective series, a book perhaps, of these slim compositions from the beach huts...so distinctly your style, easy to pick out from the crowd.
Love the 3D effect from the bright light and shadows, and would you believe it...the blue colors? :) You play extremely well with shape, contrast, and textures...now let's get you playing back outside with that camera too.
Gonna' be another wild ride tomorrow, wish us luck...just don't let any of our Belgium friends know. ;) Have a good one. Take it easy.
Cheers from across the pond,

The striking contrast caught my eye in brilliant light with superb lines, shapes, rich colors and close attention to detail. Gorgeous and obviously you have cleverly observed the potential within the constraint to compose smartly. A well organised photo seamlessly taken, Well done.

What a beautiful one! The yellow and blue work so well here to get an extremely eye catching result. Smartly cropped and very well executed! Love it!
