A natural trail through the bluebells on the banks of the little brook that runs past the little chapel of All Saints Church in the hamlet of Buncton, West Sussex, England.

Hello Brian, I am also envious you have such great walks in enchanted forests with blue bells. Another marvel.
Have a nice day

bluebell envy at maximum! This is class, since you posted the first Of these that I saw in your gallery I grace been looking for a place similar in Ireland, alas to no avail. To be honest I reckon even if I did, there is no way it would look as cool as this. The path is so inviting and you are once again blessed by the most magical light. Fantastic capture and thanks for the mention too, my blue bell envy inspires me to go further and further to try and find a similar scene. The trees in this look alive too, like tree ent alive!
Have a great weekend

lovely use of the woodland path to guide us through the scene where the dappled sunlight has worked it`s magic on the trees and bluebells.
I do enjoy your colour rendition.
Have a good week end,

You old romantic, you! Of course it's the light that makes the photograph; not that the bluebells aren't beautiful in their own right. Composition is excellent as well of course.

I guess we are also like Noel, no sign of any bluebells round here:-( This is another beautiful capture from these woods. The trail nicely placed just after centre is an invitation to step in and savour the atmosphere. Superb light and colours and excellent sharpness. Have a great weekend.

Composizione e taglio eccellenti.
Colori e nitidezza di gran qualità.
Ciao e buon fine settimana

A fabulous light through the trees you managed to collect, Brian, while walking on this trail and in the middle of a beautiful flowers field.
Nature's doe's wonder to the photographer's soul, the colors and the calmness of the place. Superbly presented.
Enjoy a nice weekend,

A celebration of light in nature.

Lovely light on this forest trail. All these flowers are a wonderful environment for a sunday walk !
I love your composition, taken from an inviting low POV.
CLODO (35754) 2014-05-03 5:14
perfect low light giving orange hues to the trees trunks, and we don't know if we have to look left or right to discover the blue bells.

Beautiful rays of the low sun gave such wonderful colors in the image.

J'aime beaucoup cette version avec ce petit chemin partageant l'image et toujours cette merveilleuse lumière.

The densely packed bluebells are magnificent but what draws my attention even more is the quality of light and detail on those tree trunks. The path leading in draws me into this superb English woodland scene.
I hope you are making use of the wonderful sunshine we are having this bank holiday weekend.
Kind Regards, Ann

The light management is perfect, the composition is very good too because I can feel as if I was walking on this trail among the bluebells.
jcpix (13948) 2014-05-04 11:03
Wow, I like this one even more than the previous. It has that dreamscape quality about it, but does that mean you're going to enter and terrorize the happy dream with your "slice and dice" glove? lol
Actually, I'd say this has more of a Little Red Riding Hood theme, but then again, there's a big bad wolf to contend with....either way, there's a fairytale kind of visual from this colorful and attractive imagery. The light really is quite magical and renders a peaceful calm over the scene. This would actually have me motivated enough to get out for a walk. :) What else can I say, it's simply beautiful! Hope you've had a nice weekend mate. Take it easy.
Cheers from the other side,
tyro (26142) 2014-05-04 13:26
You really do these woodland shots remarkably well and this one, as with your others of bluebells, is no exception.
The light and colours are simply divine and you have managed the variegated and dappled light and shade extremely well. An excellent and pleasing composition too, the little narrow pathway leading us nicely through the bluebells toward those distant trees.
P.S. Funny thing, but when TE first allowed postings of bigger than 800 pixels wide, images of 800 pixels wide were left as they were and only bigger ones were reduced: I now see that even 800 pixel pictures (such as this one) are now all reduced to 790 pixels wide and that does seem to bring about some degradation in sharpness - that certainly is the case with this picture which, at its "proper" size, is of exceptional sharpness.

I'm sure there is more than Noel in envy of this beautiful scene of bluebells and tree trunks. The light and shadow details add the most gorgeous effect, revealing the textures of the bark, highlighting the flowers and creating the most wonderful sunbeams across the woodland and path.
Who wouldn't want to see England at this time of year!
My warm regards,
eldancer1 (36343) 2014-05-04 15:21
Wow! You must feel like you were in flower heaven! I know I would. I like the lighting on just some parts of the field it created depth. Good details and wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.
siudzi (34141) 2014-05-05 11:52
I'm pretty sure that you had a fantastic walk through so many beautiful flowers. The place and the path look superb charming under the warm afternoon lights. Beautifully done! Thanks for sharing.

I have just critiqued a photograph f bluebells by the other Bev -Royaldevon. She mentioned your bluebells and I'm pleased that she did. The light here is something special, so warm and what I call buttery. The line of the earth path is a perfect invitation to lead us through bluebell wood.
Waylim (25436) 2014-05-06 17:51
What a beautiful little trail, it is almost like a little hidden secret path. Love the way the light illuminated the tree in warm goldern tone, contrast very nice to the the purplish blue flowers.
The POV makes it feel like right on the trial with you.
adores (46363) 2014-06-15 9:18
This one is also very beautiful. I like the sun light a lot and the little path through the bluebells and trees. Very good quality!
