The little chapel of All Saints Church in the hamlet of Buncton, West Sussex, England. Founded in the late 11th century this Grade I listed church has survived relatively unchanged and is still used for worship, albeit on a monthly basis.

Good Morning Brian,
What an unusual English spelling of the place name; you would expect it to be 'Bunkton'. (You can take the teacher out of the school but not the school out of the teacher!)
This doesn't look as good as a thumbnail but full size, the beauty of the church bell-tower, rising up into the sunlight from the shadows, can be appreciated. The f/g tree, casting its shadow across the random stone wall, makes a very subtle link from f/g to b/g.
Love the gravestone cross silhouetted against the sky.
Have a great day,

As Bev say, the name of the hamlet is most unusual and un-English, one imagines it derives from something else, possibly quite different. It certainly boasts a delightful little chapel beautifully captured here toward the end of the day. I like the light and shadow play very much. The colours and detail to be observed in the brickwork is really quite beautiful. The silhouetted gravestones contribute much to the mood. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent picture especially the golden sunrays falling over the building. The sky colous is very nice.

Well observed warm sunlight over the dark facade. I like the atmosphere created by those strong contrasts. Well taken.

Hm! Nicely framed, but if the brightness could be better?
Anyway - TFS

Belle prise de vue de cette église en partie éclairée par le soleil. La silhouette des pierres tombales dans l'ombre donne un bel avant-plan à l'image. Bien fait.

Hi again Brian
I really like the contrast here - both between the parts of the image in shade (in particular the gravestones and crosses in the bottom right corner) and warm light on the upper part of the church (and the sweet little bell tower) and between complementary colours yellow and blue.
