Hello Brian,
A nifty title for this well composed image. I like the point of view very much and the light and shadow play. Beautiful light across the orange tones of the boat. Very sophisticated photography.

Beautiful perspective. The sharpness, calrity and depth of the orange boat was so very vital in this photograph.
The two dark walls on either side, that squashes the 'orange' does give an impression of solidity and strength capable enough the crush the orange boat.
The light blue sky in the background creates the required contrast to enhance the effect.
Enjoyed your photograph, Brian.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Brian - I has a sneak preview of this yesterday! Excellent. I love the composition; it's creative and very well seen. Good light management and the detail in the shadow areas is nicely textural. The orange boat sits centre stage and adds oomph to the more subdued colours. I see you took this one in Bognor ... that's a name I haven't heard for ages. Super! Have great weekend. Rosemary

Hi Brian,
I realy dig these saturated colours, the light play and those dark reflections in the alley. But the key is the perspective here - together with the other things I mentioned, it gives this innocent sloop a hint of Stephen King-ish menace. Great and graphic storytelling here, this one would look fab on the cover of a thriller!
Have a nice weekend

Ciao Brian
bel comlpo d'occhio, la barca è ben colorata e contrasta splendidamente tra le due pareti scure, le luci seguono lo stesso schema, nuvole scure in alto e sole sulla barca.
Saluti

You found a really perfect frame for the bright orange boat here, Brian. The lines lead the eye perfectly. And the deep shadows in most of the shot really help the boat itself pop out at you. The beach and sand barely reflected on the wall there is just awesome - helps integrate the two parts of the shot, but mostly it's just a really cool effect! Great shot!

Hey Brian
perfect shot!
perfect title too!
fantastic work to get the lighting as we see it.
the amount of details and textures on the side walls is impressive.
I hope people appreciate the strong lighting conditions and how hard it is to obtain such a photo. even getting it done correctly in post processing is hard!
this one is a beauty!!!!
cheers

Hallo Brian,
This is briljant:
The diagonal lines creates a very nice depth
and ends by the boat.
Ther is a nice contrast in the picture
Briljant composition and light management.
The narrow opening/passage makes the picture
extra exciting....
Goes to my favorites.
Friendly regards,
Robert

Hello Brian,
Back from my travels so will start posting again soon. Meanwhile I thought I would catch up with some critiquing.
I love this one for its original perspective and the punchy orange boat. Very well controlled light with a nice shine on the wooden hut.
A very interesting image - somthing that most people would pass by.
Kind Regards, Ann

Hello Brian,
Now this is a dramatic perspective. The lines, the tunneling shadows, the elegant symetry, your composition is bold and perfect. It really make your subject shine. Bravo,
Emmanuel
