The wonderful North Door of Arundel Cathedral in the town of Arundel, West Sussex, England. Full of amazing character with two rather unwelcoming heads either side of the amazingly ornate hinges.

this door is amazing and no wonder you decided to give it the whole space in the picture - it deserves tight framing decidedly. With all the colors and delicate light it almost looks as it might lead to some fairy land.

At the outset, Happy New Year, and Happy 1000th post.
I love images of ancient doors, especially with arches, weathered wood, and wrought iron reinforcement like the one you've posted. I even hung this beauty in the group theme gallery, Old Doors.

A splendid study in tones and texture. The precise symmetrical framing makes for a powerful composition. Superb rendering of the colours and textural detail. I like very much the contrasting frame offered by the moss covered steps. Very well observed and perfectly presented. Have a pleasant Sunday.

Your PP work has used colour saturation very well here Brian. It adds to the finely captured detail and gives life to the beautiful doorway. Sometimes shots of this ilk can seem quite 'dead' but not this one all the lovely tones and textures are showcased. Warm regards Rosemary

The well saturated colors here have rendered this old door very attractive indeed. Amazing archway for a small side door I d'say.

Elle est belle cette vieille porte de bois avec ses charnières immenses. Bon cadrage. J'aime bien la présence des feuilles mortes au pied de la porte. Bien fait.

interesting minimal composition with the door panel. Great symmetric framing with sharp detailed decoration of it. Fine colour too. Very well done. Tfs.

Those old doors are gates to the past. Well decorated or just simple, they are great images of history and culture. Well taken, enjoy a good evening.
