A very well composed shot with the f/g vegetation creating a very natural and interesting frame through which the strong, upright towers of the castle stand out, contrasting in form, textures and colours. The low sunlight has made the hues warm and interesting.
All the best for Christmas,

The image is very well composed using the contrasting foliage as a frame for the austere lines of the castle. What strikes most is the dramatic lighting with the lower part of the image beautifully lit and the upper part sat under that menacing sky. Clarity is excellent. Best regards for Christmas and the New Year.

this is beautiful, not only the castle itself which is a fine design, very strong and yet rather romantic looking, but also the soft light falling across the scene making it seem like we could be peering back in time. Your framing of the castle with the greenery is really a beautiful touch. Excellent capture, thanks for sharing.
All the best

not only architecture and autumn nature look here beautiful.
I like equally the way you composed and framed the scene with the lush greenery making a natural frame around the Castle. The result looks superb!
And of course something we get used while admiring your pictures-combination of beautiful, vivid colors, soft light and textures.
I wish You a Merry Chrismas and a Happy New Year

Lovely, well-balanced, well-composed image of Arundel. Not certain if you used a gradient filter in processing, but top part of the castle looks a touch too dark. I love the vegetation framing the castle. I particularly like the brighter green foliage in the immediate foreground.

wow, you captured this castle beautifully, Brian. The chosen POV is fantastic. Lie the magical light on it. Great depth and clarity too. Great shot. Tfs.

your composition is elegant and lovely, the view is romantic and delightful. I like very much how the Castle is framed by the vegetation and that we need to pass several layers of greenery to reach it. The warm touches offered by the light are wonderful, the colours and the textures create an enchanting effect. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a wonderful Christmas time with health, love and joy!

I really enjoy the vignette effect of the vegetation and the darkened sky which accentuates the lovely light on the Castle.
With the appearance of a storybook cover I`m reminded of Prince`s and Castles..
All the best Les.

Hi Brian, it looks like a painting. beautiful view of this old castle.
I wish you and your loved ones very Merry Christmas, full of peace, love and joy.
Short, but I still have something to do in the kitchen :))

Well framed and composed with good repetition of the vines, which frame the shot, add depth and a 3d effect as well as providing a graphic element because most are in bright sunlight against a dark bg. The castle makes a splendid backdrop and the sidelighting on the stone walls is superb. A safe and happy Christmas and New Year to you and your family.
