Hello Brian ,
Beautiful evening light on the superb spire . The moon is a real bonus . May be that I should have cropped a little of the right part (and a part of the sky on the top)

A really beautiful shot which demonstrates very careful composition, a great use of the evening light, a fine sense of depth and, of course, the ghostly inclusion of the moon!
I was intrigued by this tower. I posted a shot of Silfiac Church, in France, which had similar ornamentation on the tower. I had never seen anything like it before and here is something similar, though a little more ornate, in England!!
Have a lovely day,

One of my favourite songs by Credence Clearwater Revival immediately springs to mind: "I see a new moon rising". A cleverly framed image, perfectly cropped and with the moon placed just so between the two spires. Pleasant warm/cool tonal contrasts and excellent rendering of the textural detail.

Ciao e buona serata

The composition is not great (the picture is somehow out of balance, is not very happy cropped), but the image is still awesome!

well chosen the vertical format as we can see the ornate spires of Arundel Cathedral to be placed perfect in the frame with the moon to be an other good optical effect of the image.
I like the excellent light and colour management of the scene as the perfect quality of the image.

As it is always in your photos, fantastic colours of the spire and sky but the rising moon in the perfect position is a cherry on the cake. fantastic shot.

a top class composition here which I missed yesterday. Great frame. The architecture is beautiful and superbly caught. The last light is amazing and the view of moon with it made it pleasant to see. Tfs this nice one.
