A church? A castle? No, a school! Photo

Photographer’s Note

I’m continuing my challenge I started yesterday.
This is the Old Blue Coat School, which could look like a church or a castle. It is believed to have been founded in 1714 as a charity school for girls who spent their last two years being trained in the rigours of domestic service.
Yesterday, I showed you the old Cathedral in ruins and the new, modern Cathedral.
Well, there’s actually a third cathedral, the ruins being the stones you can see on the foreground of this picture, dating from 1850s. And the white and black building on the left used to be the tourist information until 2007.

Bonjour Estelle,

On a bien l'impression d'être à l'école de Harry Potter après quelques transformations. Sous cloche se trouve au premier plan quelque chose de visiblement précieux... Cela pourrait figurer dans la note!

Eh bien, pour quelqu'un qui n'aime pas beaucoup Coventry, tu la présentes plutôt bien cette ville ;o)
Très bon cadrage, un mélange des genres réussi. La passerelle donne de la profondeur et amène le regard sur l'édifice ancien.
Les couleurs de la brique sont bien restituées, la couleur rose est douce et naturelle.
Bonne idée cet avant-plan laissant apercevoir les ruines.
Bravo pour ces images intéressantes.

un tres beau cadrage de cette ancienne école qui pourrait ressembler à une église, mais certes la rigueur était là, sur cette photo beaucoup d'édifices architecturaux remarquables
