un POV bien pensé qui nous fait profiter des deux façades.Un bien joli ciel au-dessus des bâtiments.
Dommage pour cette distorsion de perspective.

The street is helping to frame the building. The point of view is showing a double perspective of the architecture of the building. The late morning light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

The dark building against the lighter sky bg adds a good graphic element. Excellent sharpness & a nice angled pov on the old building and tower, with a subtle contrast against the newer, blander bg building at right. I like the punchy light contrasts & image density looks about perfect. Tfs!

very interesting piece of architecture. Photographed at the pleasant sunny weather which provided attractive colors. I don't recall seeing ever much from this city although it is as far as I know the second largest in this country. So it is a very valuable photo, TFS

an interesting metamorphosis in this former church, now a night club.
I like the perspective of its lines and its elegant shapes, which you offer us by means of a good framing.
The dark color of the building is amazing, and creates a beautiful contrast with the blue sky and the clouds.
A splendid work, my friend.

pity that church now is a night club. Amazing old architecture. Good composition, fine light and colours also.
Have a nice day.

Good Morning Achim,
It is interesting to see that the older, more decorative buildings are left, itegrated with the modern structures.
Your angle makes a good guide and produces a fine sense of depth and perspective. The details are sharp and the dark grey of the tower stands out well against the pale blue sky.
Have a good w/e,

Good morning Achim,
nice the view as the presentation too of the Second Church of Christ with its placement in the frame to be well made.I like the clarity of the image, the dominating dome on the blue and puffy sky.
Have a good day,Danos

Un angle de prise qui permet d'avoir vue sur l'entrée et un des coté de l'église au pierres sombres et au clocher a l'architecture particulière, bonne lumière, belle présentation

Bonjour, cher ami Achim,

A colored expressive composition and good diagnal lines with the elements work really well together. Love the strength and clarity that you have achieved in vivid detail shot of this magnficient church as it stands out strongly against the blue sky. That little touches of bright colors are wonderful addition. A fine shot with impeccable quality. Simple but powerful shot, Nice work. Have a great WE

Ciao dear Achim,
curious image, is the first time that I see a church turned into a nightclub, maybe the Devil has played a cruel joke to God! :-) Very good photo quality, as always, expecially the excellent sharpness. Bravo!
Ciao, have a nice May!

This is a nice shot of the fine building that has had many uses. The angle of the shot works nicely adding depth to the shot. The lighting is great as is the photo's sharpness.
jemaflor (85456) 2012-07-15 9:37
Well presented, good angle, original architecture, the light is well captured, tfs.
maloutim (9637) 2012-11-30 22:55
Typical building of the reformed church in Britain, with its austere style in black bricks.
Ironical that it should have become a night-club now :-)
Great capture with good management of light, colours and sharpness.
Thanks for sharing and have a good weekend.
