Photographer’s Note
Just to get away from Germany for a while I thought I would return to my previous store of photos.
This one is taken from one of the main towers of Warwick Castle.
Warwick Castle is over a thousand years old and has been well maintained with magnificent towers and ramparts. The splendid grounds are an ideal venue for a picnic. There are many attractions at Warwick Castle from dungeons to the Great Hall, State Rooms and the Royal Weekend Party of 1898. Visitors can climb some of the towers and visit the well laid out exhibitions, many have wax figures.

This shot is giving me serious vertigo. You've brought back many childhood memories of this castle. Great POV to provide maximum impact. The people and houses give us some idea of the scale. Love the way the houses fade into the mist in the background.
Nice work.

Hello Peter,
Great shot, with the buildings below it could almost be from the middle ages. Great POV.

Hello Peter,
for once a view from your own country. And a good one. The subject is fine, the surroundings are nice, and especially I like the misty look.

Luc.

I think this pic is giving me vertigo! Brilliant shot, very striking, it looks like you had to lean over to get it at this angle. I hope not!
Nice one!

Hi Peter,
Commanding view indeed, and a great photo too! (There only seems to be a little blwon highlights on the top, but that just might be my monitor).
The perspective is outstanding and the sensation of vertigo... wow!!!
Well done!!

An extra ordinary image Peter. The view is taking your breath away. Did you fly up high there? That mist behind creates the special 3-D effect.
Some work here and there in PP cold add some technicality to it, but on the other hand - the natural flavour of the image would be lost (?)
Stay cool

A great point of view, Peter. This is really an impressive dugeon and the view from above make it even taller. Good light on the tower, perhaps a bit blurred inthe background but nothing important.
I would not have liked attacking that tower with arrows, stone and burnig oil fallen on my head.
All the best,
Emmanuel
