Roker Pier is very popular with loacl fishermen.
Roker Pier with its distinctive red and white granite lighthouse was opened on September 23, 1903, by the Earl of Durham.

Hi Ken, Great photo! For me it's the birds and the reflection of the sun that really make this photo.
Agree your original needed some sharpening, but think you may have gone a little too far with this final version as it's started to introduced some speckling, especially in the sky.
