Photographer’s Note
A little boy with a Batman mask painted on his face is looking forward to Halloween and enjoying splashing thorugh a puddle (which is the only reason puddles exist, right?) at the entrance to Old London Road in Kingston upon Thames, a street that has many antique stores.
You might also be curious as to why a bunch of British telephone boxes are toppling like dominoes in the background and no one seems to notice. That's because it is a sculpture. It consists of a curved line of twelve telephone boxes leaning against one another on edge. It was created by David Mach and is properly entitled "Out of Order".
Did you know that you can buy your own British telephone box if you want here

Hi Thomas,
Good pov! B&W is really a good choice. The little boy jumping in the puddle has been really well captured.
Well done

Hi Tom,
I like your composition here, with very pleasing lines! Nice touch with people leaving in the back while the boy is facing the viewer... Maybe I'd prefer colour, but the B&W is nicely managed

Hi Thomas.
Crazy and excellent. Great contrast between the kid (has something in the face or only is painted?) and the square with telephone cabins.
Nice composition and the black and white gives a nice touch... very nice work and well seen.
Regards.

Hi Thomas,
Very interesting shot. You really captured very well the little boy having fun, and got a nice background to the picture. It worked very well in B&W. A very good one.

Ricardo

Hi Thomas!
Yes, at the first sight I also thought why are those boxes here? It is really interesting to know that those are sculpture. Like in black and white.
