Photographer’s Note
River Wey flows through the centre of Guildford.
There is a path alongside the river that leads to the lovely town of Godalming.
Note update - 29.09.2008
Here you can see the path, but you can't see the river. I will post more pictures though, so you will get the chance to see that too.

The first thing I did when I read the title was to search for the note, knowing it would complete a pun.
I loved the left focus POV, the shades and the little balloon in the back, which makes a great complement. Even that little shadow besides the balloon goes by without taking the focus from the photo.
Great Job.

Hello, Christianna.
A lovely picture!
The lighting here is superb with the low late afternoon sun making lovely shadows across the path and the fields. The composition is excellent too, with that fence and the path nicely leading the eye into the distance and those little buildings.
Is that a hot-air balloon I see in the sky? It balances the composition beautifully and adds extra interest too.
Nice and sharp, good exposure and lovely colours.
Excellent!

A really nice picture of the English countryside, Christianna. Lovely late afternoon side light whiuch is well captured, and long leading dirt track into the distance gives a good sense of depth here. The hot air balloon is of course a bonus!
Well done, Casper :)
