Photographer’s Note
I'm not that much into football, but watching an English game in a pub is something I'll never forget. The place was packed, sweaty, smelling beer, everybody was shouting, wistling, swearing, trembling, jumping... It sounds bad, but believe me, their enthousiasm was contagious.
Well enthousiasm... untill the last penalty. Then everybody froze. No one looked at each other, the silence accros the deserted street was as heavy as the weather. People went back into the streets, walking without a goal, like zombies.

Olá Nicolas,
As a portuguese supporter i can understand the felling that you've captured. Only one time could win and sorry but i'm glad it was mine ;)
It's the game...
Kind Regards,
Sónia

Hi Nicolas,
I think the whole of England can relate to the expression on this guy's face...I know - I am one of them :-( Your shot is highly appropriate at this time, and sums up the feeling of a Nation! Well captured shot. All I can say now is....Venez sur la France!... with Thierry scoring the winner!
