Once the home of Thomas Wolsey, Archbishop of York, the palace was given to King Henry VIII as a bribe when Wolsey learned the king and other enemies were planning his downfall.
I shot this view of the formal gardens through a "window" cut into the hedge surrounding this section.

Beautiful garden with all thes eflowers, perfect light capture for colors, well framed, the composition is well balanced with castle, garden and leaves on the top.

A blazing display of color, all perfectly put together in a very pleasing compositn. The castle is a real little bonus in the view. I really like this shot, one of the nicest I have ever seen of these gardens.
