Photographer’s Note
Well everyone else is doing it, so here's my effort. I had borrowed a Canon 100-300mm lens to experiment with, so this was a good workout for it. Note that the time taken is out by one hour, as I never changed the time on my camera to GMT last Autumn! It was actually 23:35 on the 3rd.

looks like you managed quite well. there is some really nice detail there and fine colours to match. those few stars add a very nice touch. there have been some great shots form the eclipse. well done!

You managed to get this wonderful spectacle right. We didn't have this chance in Paris where the whether was awful...
