Photographer’s Note
Ipswich has the one of the highest density of parish churches to be found anywhere in England with around 200 churches scattered around the original town. These two churches are just across the road from all of the demolition work. So on the north side we have 16th century (or older?) being preserved, include Cardinal Wolsey's college gate, while on the other side of the road we have 21st century reconstruction. It will be interesting to see how the two sit together when its all finished!
