While out, I came across this beautiful scene at Heveningham Hall in Suffolk. I loved the colors and the sunset reflection on the lake.

Wow - Do my eyes deceive me? Iain, welcome back and with a new machine too! What a wonderful shot, dramatic, moody and lovely. Love the reflections in the sliver of water and the overhanging branch which fames the sunset so well. A pleasure to see, I wish I could go for a stroll along the ribbon of road which beckons me! Lovely to see you back and what a surprise - was that a lovely Christmas present - the 7D? I'll be that you love it!

A beautiful sunset with glorious colours in the sky underlined by a lovely snowy scene, the roadway leading to the little bridge across the golden water and onward to the little copses of trees silhouetted against the sky.

Well composed, glorious colours, perfect exposure and excellent details and sharpness.

Great mix of golden light over frozen land.
The snow had received a marvelous bluish tone.

A picture with a good framing, from the darkness looking into the light.
Beautiful combination of the warm tones in the sky with the snowy fields. Nice reflected light in the river.

hi iain,
this is a lovely winter scene. the snow has totally transformed the landscpae. i love the views along the road towards the bridge and the river. the light and colours in the sky are incredible. stunning depth and sharpness, and a wonderful atmosphere.
