We went for a walk yesterday along Iken shores to the Church you see in the distance.
Along the shore path we came across this naughty horse who had got out of his field and was feeding on the lush grass.
He still had his winter coat on (so to speak)it was a gorgeous colour and so soft.
On the way back we could see he had been relegated back to his field by his owner, but looked very happy.

You have created a photograph which is beautifully composed, the focal horse strongly placed, richly coloured and giving the scene a great sense of depth to the church. The lack of sunshine is of little importance.
Have a lovely day,

Good closeup shot of this well fed horse. I like the contrast between the green grass and the brown coat of the horse. He is busy having breakfast and doesn't have time to make eye contact with your lens :-) Well taken and thanks for sharing.

Being naughty can be a great pleasure, at least if you happen to be a horse who thinks that the grass will taste better on the other side of the fence. An animal as beautiful as this provides an excellent foreground, more important than the glimpse of the distant church. You captured this with a fine light management and very pleasant colours.

very beautiful and tranquil image. I don't see the naughty side of this gorgeous red-brown horse, he seems totally absorbed in consuming the fresh green vitamins:) He even let you get very close to his dining table:)
Very nice capture, thanks for sharing!
Have a great week!

looks like your very close to the horse, but there also doesn't seem to be any fear or danger - its all calm and cool.
really enjoy the wind blown grass too, thats a nice addition.

here you presented a nice frame positioning that horse in nice place. Like the colour tone and use of DOF. That church at back is looking nice with its presence. Nice composition. Tfs.

Did you learn 'horse talk' or did it move spontaneously towards your camera to show its best
profile for the official portrait?!!
An intense bucolic spirit in conveyed by your pastoral scenery.
