The Broads are a network of mostly navigable rivers and lakes in the English counties of Norfolk and Suffolk. The Broads, and some surrounding land, were constituted as a special area with a level of protection similar to a National Park by The Norfolk and Suffolk Broads Act of 1988. The Broads Authority, a Special Statutory Authority responsible for managing the area, became operational in 1989.
The total area is 303 square kilometres (117 sq mi), most of which is in Norfolk, with over 200 kilometres (120 mi) of navigable waterways. There are seven rivers and 63 broads, mostly less than 4 metres (13 ft) deep. Thirteen broads are generally open to navigation, with a further three having navigable channels. Some broads have navigation restrictions imposed on them in autumn and winter.
Although the terms Norfolk Broads and Suffolk Broads are used to identify specific areas within the two counties respectively, the whole area is frequently mistakenly referred to as the "Norfolk Broads". The Broads has the same status as the national parks in England and Wales; the Broads Authority has powers and duties almost identical to the national parks, but is also the third-largest inland navigation authority. Because of its navigation role the Broads Authority was established under its own legislation on 1 April 1989. More recently the Authority wanted to change the name of the area to The Broads National Park in recognition of the fact that the status of the area is equivalent to the rest of the national park family, but was unable to get agreement from all the different parties. The Broads Authority Act 2009, which was promoted through Parliament by the Authority, improves public safety on the water. Info Wiki.

You certainly seem to have some spectacular sunrises in your part of the world; maybe I should get up a little earlier:-) The exposure is ideal and the mood idyllic. I like the framing and the presence of the ducks.
Cool and very damp here today.

What a treat to get this light on this reflection, a beautiful time of day but especially when you took this. I love your frame again, and the tree on the right is really nicely considered in where its placed. The sky has a thousand colors through it. Really nice.

Another low light hour i love to shoot, the moment when the sun is just peeking the horizon that you got it just right. this is as good as your previous posting and I love the fact that the backdrop aren't 100% silhouettes, there are hints of detail which give a great sense of depth, the trees are particularly awesome holding the eyes firmly there. Inclusion of still water reflection is an added quality, gorgeous soft colours and nice composition and the exposure is seamless. It's smooth, cool and tranquil, an image to dive into, In one word brilliant. My congrats.
P/S; Much appreciated your nice words, honestly I did not realise the boy peeping behind the girl, thks once again for highlighting this. You have such a great trained eye!

The Broads are beautiful to explore and a delight for photographers. Your early morning walk was certainly worth the effort for you were able to capture this golden panorama in duplicate.
The colours in the sky are lovely and make a most attractive backcloth for the silhouetted winter trees.
Did you stitch photographs together for this panorama?
My warm regards,

Très jolie réalisation, j'aime les reflets, les couleurs du levé du soleil, les silhouettes des canards nageant dans cette eau calme et tranquille, c'est très beau

Another glorious picture taken early in the morning. The flatness of the landscape is broken very well by the skeletal trees. The reflections are subtle and beautiful. You captured a quiet mood - TFS.
Kind Regards, Ann
