The color red is associated and used as symbolism to portray lust, passion, love, beauty, luck, courage, sacrifice, warning, sin, guilt, loyalty, honor, success, fortune, fertility, happiness, summer and death.

So what do you think this girl, who was out on a Sunday stroll with her lover wanted to symbolize?

I'll bet that it would be lust, passion and love ;-) Just look at the way she's leaning towards him.

Besides girl's passion, her lover doesn't seem to accompany her mood with his casual bluejeans :)
I like composition; legs in front of stone wall.

Hi Leilani, I was admiring this shot of yours when you passed the very kind comments about my Good Friday shot. I like the composition very much, and I love the notes too. Her legs almost appear to glow in that beautiful sunshine. And I wholeheartedly agree with your reply to John.

Bonjour Leilani,

this shot is soo cool!! it's true that the jeans are a bit blown but that just gives more importance to the electric red. the crop is good too, we could have imagined a crop where you only get the red legs, but then we lose the context...keeping the feet in was a must too.
And you were a genius of getting that low pov, putting emphasis on the leaning of the girl.

by the way, I just got a flickr account we talked about a while ago...it should be useful to backup some shoots. I've not uploaded public pics yet, but certainly will do someday.
very good one!!seems like those classes are paying off when we look at your gallery!!
