Photographer’s Note
While visiting the Roman Baths in England I saw this woman pining away. She stood there for the longest time. I waited patiently because I had wanted to shoot a series of photos to make a panoramic view from my side, but she persisted. So I decided she would make a good subject for a candid shot.

Hi Michael,
Especially when you visit touristic places, it is usually useless to expect "them" to get out of our cadrages, so i also decided to reconcile with them and include them into my photos. Who cares, now the photos are livelier than it would be without any people :)
I like a lot your interesting tight frame and half/half compo.
Regards,
Deniz

Hello, Michael.
When I saw the thumnail of this, I thought it might have been a portrait of my hero, Ludwig van Beethoven, and when I looked at the full-size picture, she does have a resemblance to him! Coo, she looks grumpy, doesn't she?
A very well-captured candid shot with the woman nicely placed against a very dark background. The old inscription to the right gives it an Olde World look too. I suspect that you have cropped this from a larger image as it's a little grainy, but, nonetheless, it's a fine picture!
Well done!
Kind Regards,
John.
