Excellent use of your zoom lens Romana, I love the way it has concertinaed the landscape bringing the horizontal hedges into closer parallel lines. Marvellous colours and a really super composition. A pleasure to see. Warm regards rosemary

Hello Romana,

Gosh, I don't recall seeing this view from Cropredy at all! I don't think I ever looked up much from the canal - it was wonderful - or even from the bottom of my beer glass - so I never saw this view at all!

This is utterly beautiful and with a very fine composition, the red building placed perfectly in the frame, the lovely trees dotted throughout the picture and the strong horizontal lines of hedges holding the whole composition together perfectly.

Beautiful golden summery colours, lovely lighting, perfect exposure and excellent detail amd clarity.

beautiful,rural scene.And the contrast you captured here between sunny,well illuminated fields in the FG and this dark and gloomy sky in the BG is eye-catching.It creates here nice,kind of contradictory atmosphere.Gloomy vs.sunny day-excellently immortalized on your picture.The colors and contrast between them are delightful.

You show us that Copredy is not just about the canal but is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The composition has worked very well with the patchwork of fields broken by the farm buildings. What a perfect blue sky. Excellent exposure and colours - love it!

I really like all the strong and saturated colours here, this reminds me more of a painting than a photo. The picture is also composed like a painting where you can add different fields together to achieve the effect you are looking for. I like the horizontal green lines and the randomly placed trees. The red barn is also adding interest to the composition. A very attractive picture!

Hello Romana: I like the composition here with the buildings to the right. Many horizontal lines are very effective with the colors of the various fields blending together nicely. You have a good eye to have found and seen this composition before photographing it.
