Photographer’s Note
Hello everyone, this house is in a part of the parkland known as Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire.
Clumber Park comprises over 3800 acres which includes woodland, open heath, farmland and as the focal point there is a large lake.
There is also the longest avenue of lime trees in Europe.
This is part of Nottinghamshire's famous 'Dukeries',Clumber was formerly home to the Dukes of Newcastle.
The house was demolished in 1938, but many features still remain, including a Gothic Revival chapel and a walled kitchen garden.
[Info. taken from the National Trust handbook.]
I am unsure who lives in this house but I was taken by its situation and its neat appearance.
Thanks for looking.

Hi Jean,
Every time I see a wonderful scene like this, I feel tempted to doubt about the truth of the fame of the grey English weather. :-)
The place is lovely, it looks like having been designed for learning high grade photo composition, something that you don't seem to need any more, considering the beautiful perfection of every aspect, either technical or aesthetic of this photo.
Thanks for showing it!
Regards, José.

Hi Jean,
You have captured this lovely estate in beautiful light that redered lovely soothing shadows on the neatly manicured lawn.
The old ivy covered brick homes stands out prominently against the lovely blue sky.
