[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Chesterfield Canal was built (1777) to run from Stockwith on the River Trent to Chesterfield. It is presently being restored and the section before Chesterfield, which includes a tunnel, remains to be completed. This shot is of Lock 25 between Rhodesia and Kiverton where a section with 8 rising locks helps to navigate over the holls towards Chesterfield.
