This pair of common Blue Damselflies (Enallagma cyathigerum) are in the wheeled mating position. they will then open out into tandom and fly off to lay the resulting eggs into the weed floating on or near the surface of the water. even to the point of ducking her under the water.

PS7 adjustments open and crop 21 X 21 cm @ 600dpi

An excellent capture. The square format works very well. The damselflies are sharp and their mating position forms a beautiful composition.
I often find that a good way of appreciating the strengths and weaknesses of a composition is to use the Find Edges filter in Elements. I am going to take the liberty of posting the result of applying this filter to this photograph as a WS. It not only brings out the strengths of the composition but, IMO, is beautiful in itself.

Lush green leaves and mating damselflies spell SUMMER. I want some! Great catch, everything neat and tidy and within DOF range.

The mating rituals of the damselflies are rarely seen in such stunning detail. This is a remarkable capture Rob.Coupled with informative notes, this gives us a visual appreciation of some of nature's hidden spectacles. The blue really stands out,as does the wing detail.

You were lucky to do a picture like that! The coulours of the Damselflies are wonderful and the sharpness of the image is also very good. Well done!
