Photographer’s Note

This one`s for Marlene.
Taken back last July in my mothers garden on a Buddliea davidii `Lochinch` common name The Butterfly Bush for its ability to attract clouds of butterflies and moths. to their nectare rich flowers. This Painted Lady (Cynthia cardui)is only a visitor to England from southern europe in early summer when they lay a batch of eggs which hatch and become butterflies in September but they find our climate too cold and damp to over winter in and die. This year we have had very large numbers of them so maybe a few will make it through as so far its been very mild if not a little damp.
Adjustment, well apart from a crop of less than 10% nothing was done to this one its as it came out of the camera, alittle soft in the antenae but that could of been sorted with the burn tool but thought to try an as is one for a change, hope you like ;0)))#
