No this is not China! It's the Chinese Arch photographed from behind the ruins of the medieval townwall in Newcastle upon Tyne, Northeast England. The Chinese Arch is the gateway to the Chinatown district of Newcastle with its many Chinese restaurants, craft shops, and specialist supermarkets.
