Nice mood created here. I also like the dalmatiër, it's a good subject for a photo, especially since it's sitting for this fireplace. Good colours. Sharpness could be improved a bit though. And I also think the right side is a bit to dark, and at last minority, there is some dark area on the bottom, I would crop or clone it out.

I love the composition here, it creates a wonderful mood. You capture this scene perfectly. The actual photograph could use some improvements though, as Emiel_Skyfreak noted. Thanks for sharing!
