Photographer’s Note
Another shot of the Angel of the North, this time at sunset and these people were doing what a lot of others were doing, having there photo taken at the foot of the Angel. At first I wanted them out the way but as one group of people left another group would arrive. So instead of the angel on it's own I took this shot and I'm very pleased with it, I hope you think it's worthy of some points too.
Matt.

Hello Matthew,
I think this is a great shot, with the completely black silhouttes (I can't spell that, must learn) of everything but the sky. And with the angel just cutting across the frame from the top right: It's a brilliant composition - can't think what those who don't know what "the angel" is will make of it! :)
Regards. Super job.

Hi Matthew. I love the sky on this shot. Lovely warm colours. This is a great silhouette and you should be pleased with it. The Angel of the North is Britain's largest and most impressive sculpture. Well done. Sue

I like this very much because it`s different from the normal Angel photos. For once I think it takes second stage to this wonderful sky.
Excellent.

Hi Matt,
Great silhouett shot, Excellent sky and composition too. Including the people in this shot make's it that more interesting. You deserve more points for it. It's the best shot i've ever seen of this hideous monstrosity. Well done indeed!
