This image was taken looking down The Shambles in York. I used a Neutral Density filter (Hoya ND8) and F22 to allow for a long exposure.

This is a great shot, A dark mood reminding me of an old Sherlock Holmes movie:)
I really like the ghostly figures in the foreground.

I find it a bit too dark and heavily gray, but the idea is really clever. It's fun to try to figure out how many people there are, what they are doing and so on.

Hello Tom,
You created a great effect here! The mood really is sinister, almost as if Jack the Ripper would be lurking down this street! I like the cobblestones beneath the blurred figures, and the details of architecture that jump out in certain spots.

very cool indeed Tom...
The motion blur adds; well actually, makes the shot for me. Love the sign that says "Past Images"...great detail. i would like to see more contrast. I do understand what you were going for here, a dark sinister quality, but just a tad brighter in the highlights might still retain that sinister quality, but give some punch to the photo...
