I thought I would do a short series of alternating shots of York and New York at night, this shot taken in York is the 3rd.

BTW the timber framed building is bowed the way you see it.

I was about to comment about the sagging frontage when I read your note! I like your framing of this facade, which really shows how much it is bowed. The movement of the people add life and the exposure is spot on. A very nice scene.

No trouble telling which York this one is from. Although I've never been to York (something I intend to rectify, since my ancestors come from there) this fits perfectly with my image of what it should look like. The timber framed building is so interesting, almost like a living being, the way it changes over time - like with the bowed timbers. Great shot Stephen, and great series!
