Photographer's Note

This photograph is taken while walking and going from York Station to York Minster. I remember that this place was taken from the bridge built over River Ouse which flows through the center of a town. A part of York Minster of Gothic construction is visible in the long distance center. The buildings which make medieval times consider stand in a row on both sides of the winding road, and it will feel a time slip to them involuntarily. The circumference of the town is enclosed by the rampart of having been built from the 12th century to the 14th century. Although memory has faded, I remember faintly having visited Jorvik Viking Centre to return.
This photograph is scanned with CanoScan Lide60 and digitized.
