Tired out after a long day fighting the Saxons at the York Viking Festival.
Hundreds of people from all over the world come to take part in this epic battle, which is only a small part of the festival as a whole,is held annually and visitors to York can learn about how they lived and settled here.They were there for trade although the initial attraction was probably pillaging and mayhem generally.

Hello Marion,
One day i really want to see one of those Medieval Festivals and all those roleplayers in full costumes. You were lucky to be there.
I like a lot your high POV and tight crop on the warrior. I tried a workshop to increase the drama and to make it look more-movie-like. Hope you like it.

great to see you again! This is an unusual and intriguing picture of a knight looking tired and concerned after the battle, perhaps going over the events in his mind (I hope he's alive:) I like your zoom on his face and expression, the design and colours of his gear are so eye catching and interesting.
