Photographer's Note

I go back to Whitby that I visited a week ago with Mariusz :). It was a bit windy day, not so much after the heavy storms two days earlier. It was cloudy but I found the weather really good.
This is a panorama of the harbour area. On the left there are piles of the lobster pots that are stacked quite high and also make a nice image, maybe I will post it later. The fishermen take the pots out to sea and leave them marked by the colourful flags. They hope they are full of lobsters and crabs when they return. Probably one can have delicious lobsters but I haven't seen them.
In the background on the cliff top is the 12th century St. Mary’s church and behind it the famous Whitby Abbey.
