At the 199 steps in Whitby, it was going to rain, he had no intention to move, I couldn't wait, and then I suddenly thought that he made me a photo.. so I clicked. Don't you think? Thanks for looking.

Yes he does make this photo which also has many other attributes that make it a good image. The composition is great and the depth with good lines into the shot and a sense of rising height.
Good moment captured

Some people are very stubborn, but he does add to the shot stood there. The point of view is very well chosen looking up the steps toward the church tower. The image is nicely presented with good light, colours and sharpness. I like the atmosphere created by that threatening sky.

I have to agree. The man really adds to the composition and makes the shot much more interesting. I recognised this place immediately from the thumbnail, having been to Whitby myself on a few occassions. In the summer months the steps are usually crowded with tourists so you have done well to get a shot with just the single person in view. Its a fairly steep climb to the top if I recall, so I can understand why is taking a rest to enjoy the view.
I like that you included part of the church tower in the composition as it shows us where the steps lead to.
