Photographer’s Note
This is Cauldron falls in West Burton, Yorkshire. (Not to be confused with Cauldron snout in Upper Teesdale). It really does resemble a cauldron after rain. It was painted several times by, and was a favourite of the artist Turner. Maybe he was trying to get the silky water effect in which case perhaps, he should have painted slower…..
This is a fairly conventional view but my favourite is that which I saw when I first came upon it. I’ll post that in WS.

Hi Vic,
jolie composition de cette petite chute, une petite correction de la balance des blancs améliorerais encore ton image.

Hi Vic = simply beautiful, I like the long exposure effect, and the way the trees evenly frame the top, avoiding overexposed skies common in these types of photos.

Great waterfall shot! The smooth, flowing lines of the water are captured well here. I like the view, with the series of steps leading to the perfectly matched 5 falls in the final drop. Beautiful!

Hi vic,
I like very much these photos with the water so blurred. This is very beautiful, for the space given to the river/lake? in foreground, for the vegetation (fantastic color) as frame, and for the light entering from the background. The white in the cascade is really misty. Very very beautiful. Best wishes, and Merry Christmas.
Angel.

Hi Vic,
wow! wonderful view. It might be called also conventional (by you, not by me ;)), but I really like this silky effect of the long shutter. I like it very much.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Hello vic,
What a lovely place. The time exposure is really nice. It gives a very nice aspect to water fall.. But the light on vegetation from top of picture is gorgeous.
Kind regards

Nice composition and colours. Technically well executed too. The choice of shutter speed has blurred the water nicely without allowing any noticeable movement in the trees. The circular polariser has done its job well, keeping any unpleasant highlights off the leaves whilst at the same time acting as a useful ND filter.
Best regards
Richard
