Photographer’s Note
This is the view looking up towards West Burton Falls on Walden Beck in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. You can’t see the main falls, but in the distance you can see some little cascades. The beck joins the River Ure, where the 3 Aysgarth Falls are, further downstream. I was attracted by the reflections initially. There is complementary image in the WS.
You can see more photos from the Dales in my travelogue (left)

Hi Kath,
A nice view under the trees, with many nice elements in it like the patch of whitish pebbles on the left corner, the waterfalls in distance, looks very nice !

Very beautiful, Kath. This small river with so clear water flowing through the green realm, and the yellow flowers on the riverside (they look like narcisses actually, but it can't be true, in June...) Nice deepness with the cascades. I like the way you present the simple charms of rural England, indeed, the beauty is just around the corner...
Cheers

Love the water in this shot. It's so clear and has produced some wonderful reflections. Everything is so nicely framed with the stones on the left and the greenery on the right and at the top. I so wish I was there now rather than behind this desk. Excellent quality, so crisp. This is a lovely piece of work Kath.

Hallo Kath!
Another lovely picture of a exuberant nature, an orgy of green!
The stream leads wonderful into the scenery. I like that you included the heap of pebbles into the photo. A really calm atmosphere. I like it!

Bonsoir Kath,
Il existe des endroits charmants qui méritent une petite halte, le temps d'admirer ce havre de paix.
La faune et la flore sont des éléments qui semblent bénéficier d'une paix royale.
Très belles prises de vue, photo publiée + bonus.
Amitiés.

I like this image because it looks like a miniature Japanese garden.
Great composition...
The blue spot in the water, near the yellow flowers, it's a plastic thing, a paper, or a bottle. I can believe it!!
Is not good in the picture neither

Hi Kath,
I note from your critiques that several others have the same reaction as I do, "I would love to be there;" it looks so cool and peaceful. The framing is splendid to catch two little waterfalls behind the lovely reflection; clarity, color and detail are all perfect. Would you believe that yellow iris are listed as noxious weeds to be eradicated in this area??
Regards, Pat
