Hi Michael.
An astonishing photo which reminds me of pictures in children's books when I was a little boy. The amazing viewpoint allows us to see so much of the village. The details are extraordinary, and those houses on the right of the stream look almost as if they're made of gingerbread or belong in a model railway or something. Wonderful light in your very good exposure.

Together with my family we really enjoyed looking at your photo. Especially my wife, who could relate herself to it as she stayed in this town when she was a young girl.

I recognised this location from the thumbnail straight away!
I have surfed quite a few times at Staithes, and what a beatiful location to surf too!

You have captured Staithes in all its beauty, and i love how the stream takes on a blue hue from the reflection of the sky above!
