Another naturally framed composition. This one is prominent with a great depth sense and nice natural color tones. It's a pity that the sky is not an admirable one. But the interesting architectural details and lovely stone work in the abbey is very remarkable. I also liked the exquisite sharpnesss and clarity of your shot. Thanks for sharing. Have a nice Sunday.

Hello Deb,it was a good idea to use the opening as a frame and the path to lead to the interesting ruins which are pretty sharp and clear.
It`s a shame about the bland sky but hopefully there are brighter days to come.
Best regards Les.

Another natural frame shot, again with beautiful details. If also some beautiful sky, this should go to my favorites :-)
Have a nice day,

Hello and welcome back Deb
Unfortunately I am not very present lately due to illness in the family that allows me to full activity in TE. While you were away for a long time and I was very upset. With great pleasure I see your new work and I can tell you that I like very much. I chose this photo for the emotions that creates thinking of people who lived there and lived happily in their time. What little is left ... 's have captured perfectly and very interesting with the "frame" of a black door or window.
Great job Deb excellent resolution and color, compliments and hoping for some new shots ... greetings and good wishes for the weekend ... Marino

Good evening Debbie,
The old ruin with a perfect opening like a window, looking towards the other side on the inner court.
Good green-color lawn in between, in perfect texture, just a bit of backlight from the sky.
I once was told that all those ruined Abbies, had a wooden roof, torned down trough time - becouse the massons in the early 13th or so century did not have trhe skill to built a roof - than the places were abandoned, as saw throughout England and scotland.
Nice taken shot - excelent idea,
