Redcar is a place with very contrasting beaches. The main beach is is a massive expanse of sand and rocks running diagonally out to sea. The other, less visited beach is near the mouth of the river Tees with the local steel works in the background.
For this shot, I used a tripod and a ND grad filter to balance exposure. I used f22 for maximum detail from front to back and focused just beyond the rock in the lower left corner.

Beautiful image, especially for the contrast between the light of the lamps and the uniform blue of sea and sky.
Nice reflections in the water also.

Lovely shot, great placing of the pier or otherwise land in the back, so high in the photo. Great details in the foreground and excellent sharpness. The reflections of the lights in different intervals and strength across the water are a really nice addition. The water seems quiet and there is a bit of the milky effect. The colours are good for a late evening shot. Horizon straigth.
As minorities (in my opinion, and sure, my photos have more..hehe) I want to mention a bit noise in the sky. And as second point, the stars of the highlights are all nice, except for one, the brightest one (giving biggest reflection) the shape and light around it seems a bit strange. The others are great in the distance.
Lovely shot, a welcome share. TFS!

NIce shot, and good reflections across the water.I took some myself on Sunday but I wasn't very pleased with them, too many people on the beach, I will try later.

As well as giving excellent depth the small aperture provided those lovely starbursts on the lights. The reflected light makes an eyecatching addition to the image. Ugly in daylight the beach around the Gare provides some wonderful opportunities by night.
