Photographer’s Note
Wells-Next-The-Sea, Norfolk, England. At the end of a two day family holiday we relax on a wide stretch of sandy beach, the sky is blue and the waves splash far away. Not sure if this photo would work better if it was sharper or black and white? And also appears a bit wonky?

hi brendan, i may see that my lukasz has already been here before me :-))
just two technical remaks:
a) usually it is better not to compose a symetrical photography: just watch how the other photographers divide the picture - it will help; of course there are occasions when this rule could/or even should be broken but it seems to me that your picture is not the one;
b) horizont should be usually hmm ... horizontal, unless deliberately tilted in order to make the picture look more dynamic, but in such cases the tilt is strong, artist's intension easily recognizable; in modern slr cameras there should be special solution that helps to compose non-tilted images
i hope these advices will help you to shoot even better photos;
reporting from remote country, jerzy
