Photographer’s Note
We haven't had many nice and bright days, so at the weekend, when the sun was out, I got into the garden, and photographed all the plants and wildlife. I've just cropped this shot, no other tinkering, as I was pleased with the balance and the colours.

A photograph worthy of Springwatch! I especially like the contrast of focus vs. out-of-focus... makes for a photo with excellent depth. Well done!

The bee has come out really well - the highlights and veining in the wings have been captured beautifully. I'd only suggest that it may look better if the emerging flower bud in the top left was blurred like the rest of the picture (it is quite distracting from the main subject).
