Photographer's Note

I took this earlier today on an interesting path in West Kirby on the Wirral Peninsular. This sea-wall creates a permanent pool for windsurfing and sailing. The sea here is really the Dee estuary which is tidal (the tide is out on this picture) so this way there's always some water available for sailing etc. The man-made lagoon is about a mile long, it makes for a pleasant and slightly unusual walk.
