Photographer's Note

This is a shot looking back towards Liverpool city centre taken from the Albert Dock.

The tall building is part of what is known as Mann island and consists largely of apartments though it is a multi use building.

anche oggi ti sei proposto con una bella fotografia nella quale la composizione appare particolarmente curata unitamente al colore splendido nelle infinite sfumature sia in aria che nell'acqua.
Molto bello anche il formato quadrato che io uso spesso nelle mie foto.

who the heck wouldn't like a photo like this!?
they'd must be nuts to not appreciate it.
everything is so freaking calm, so 'still'
the reflective mirror image is awesome, and having the red hull of the boat against all the blue works really well.
love it.

A wonderful composition. The colors are fabulous, especially in the reflection. I like here the quiet atmosphere. the boat adds a lot too. Wonderful colorful light, really eyecatching.

Hi Michael,
I like he square format here that emphasizes the symmetry of the reflection. The patch of red brought by the boat is also a good idea to anchor the composition (and it's a bar!). Good job!

Thats a stunning capture, the water is so incredibly still! As mentioned above, teh big red boat makes a beautiful splash of colour in the scene, and I have a big appreciate for the architecture on display here too, lots of variation in new and old. Really well done, this is class.

Hello Michael,

Albert Dock is a fascinating place to photograph and this is proof. The still water makes a marvellous mirror, giving perfect reflections of the reality.
The red boat is a great focal image.
