This nuthatch displayed some strange, though probably logical, behaviour.
The shiny white & brown 'thing' is a sculpture of shiny steel. The nuthatch had a ritual of coming & sitting on the wall above, flying towards its reflection in the sculpture and dropping down to the base and circling it. Then it hopped onto a low wall beside it, climbed up through the ivy (seen in the reflection) to the top of a higher wall and then flew off.
I like the dislocation in this photo caused by the reflections.
It's been doing this over again for a few weeks, but I've no idea why.
