Photographer’s Note
This is my first ever picture i have taken i took it when i went to manchester by salford quays, the bridge is called the lowry levitating footbridge.
I have played around with the brightness and contrast a little to hide the fact that it was taken on a dull dark day during early evening.
The image was sharpened and grey-scaled washed.

Hey, I like the image, a good effort for a first time. The black and white adds to the bleakness of the image. It looks like a time piece partly due to the not very sharp imagery, making the image look slightly dated. Quite effective.

Hi Jade,
Welcome to Trek Earth.com
In this particular composition:
You cut off quite a bit.
Things are missing and that's not usually a good thing in a photo.
Perhaps a wide angle lens is in order.
I like the one lone person leaning over the rail.
Good job on the black & white choice.
peace,
haans :)

Welcome to TE Jade, interesting compo, and good use of the guy looking over the rails. Maybe a tighter crop below, losing some of the foreground would be an improveent, but nice first post.
