Windows reflections, a photo from Manchester, England

Photographer's Note

While wandering on the wharfs, I saw this brick buildings with the white other buildings reflections in its windows. I took the picture, and a few seconds later, a man came and asked me why I was taking this house in picture. Apparently, he was the guard and has seen me on his CCTV. I showed him the picture and explain him, asking if I had to delete it.
That's OK, so you can see it. thank you!
Post processing: adaptation in order to have vertical lines vertical.

Hi Claude,
A very well observed picture, this is getting close to a modernistic painting. The blue windows and the white lines are very artistic elements here. Maybe I should have spent a little more time to emphesize the straight lines here and adjusted also tho horizontal lines against the frames. Your idea is great ang the colours are great but the slight remaining tilt could have been avoided. But this is just a minor niggle.

une belle photo de ces reflets dans les vitres de cet immeuble, une belle symétrie également avec les fenêtres; seulement soit un effet d'optique ou çà penche un peu à droite, non? pas grave le résultat est là

Nice idea to present the windows and building with no context. It draws attention only to the windows, which I'm sure is what you were after. I think you were not square on to the building, which is unfortunate, as it makes unavoidable non-level horizontals.

Je ne comprends pas trop : on n'a plus le droit de photographier un immeuble ?
En tous cas c'est un cliché attirant , dès la vignette , par son graphisme simple et efficace , mais aussi pour les jeux de reflet .

Un bon cliché de cette façade qui utilise la brique comme composant graphique à la géométrie soignée. Bel accord entre le rouge brique et le bleu des fenêtres. Quelques jolis reflets également. Bien vu.

Les photographes sont tous devenus de dangereux terroristes....quel monde dans lequel on (sur)vit!Graphisme et couleurs sont évidemment les points forts de l'image.

This wall and windows makes excellent quality graphical-abstract effect when the sky looks more delicious bluer and the distorted reflections. Another of your fav and speciality, your hawk eyes have spotted simple but of great interest. A stunning picture rich in vibrant colors, good clarity and sharpness. A fine shot with artistic touch. Your rate of posting is amazing...difficult for me to keep up & keep track! What is an obvious attraction is of course the strong colour contrast aided by the strong graphic effect. The refletions adds to it all. Well seen, weel composed & well taken!

Another smart composition, and such fine detail in the bricks. I like the arrangement of windows, that there is a larger gap between the ones on the right side of the frame from the other two sets. The bold colors are amazing , quite a clever recognition of this isolated area of building. Very well done!
