Crossing the reflection, a photo from Manchester, England

Photographer's Note

This is an image of the new Manchester: stainless steel and glass replace the old bricks of the buildings, but some are still there. The addition of the man in red cloth (a person who checks the car parks and gives fines if the time is off), well located in the image is a bonus, and gives the scale of the building.

Very nice capture with amazing reflections.
I normally hate those glassy fassades but on the other hand they help us to creates nice photographic works.

le reflet permet de voir chaque côté de la rue,et ses couleurs et lumières sont superbes.J'aime la présence de l'homme solitaire, tout petit parmi les hauts buildings,donnant l'impression que la ville est désertée .

Un cadrage tout en hauteur qui va chercher avec bonheur le clocher de l'église dans le miroir des fenêtres . L'homme seul fournit une tr``es belle relation dimensionnelle.

The way the reflection of the bell tower anchors this modern edifice is really well seen! The compo is that too - the bell tower and the tree do a fine balancing act. And the addition of the traffic warden is a fine choice indeed.

Hello Claude,

Beautiful reflections and perfect timing as the man crosses them. I like the red color reflections on the blue glass windows. Nice sharp image.

very nice shot from street with nice composition...like the reflection of the another building in the mirrors of the BG modern age architecture beside the road...
the walking man add a human presence in this image...
good play of warm light here...nice color contrast & sharpness also...

je suis toujours attiré par ces reflets du passé dans les constructions modernes; ta photo ne pouvait donc pas m'échapper.Tu aurais peut-être pu redresser le côté droit?
