Fleet Street in the city of London used to be the home of the British newspapers and press in for almost 300 years, but now almost all newspapers and news agencies have moved away. The last major news agency to leave was Reuters in 2005. The church is St. Dunstan- in- the-West, a Church that was first founded around 1000 AD

The red bus is a good eye-catcher here. It is well positioned in the composition and it is also well balanced against the background church. Inte mycket trafik här, det förefaller som om trängselavgifterna har en viss effekt.

A cloudy day but the colours are really crispy and clear. The view provides a fine mix of London architecture of various styles from different times. The bright red bus is surrounded by a lot of fine yellow and white lines.

Hi dear Ulf
Perfect framework and composition, so perfect.
A red two stories bus is so vivid and very impresive.
So sharp / celear, comfortable image indeed.
A deep and sharp / clear presentation due to F 8 is admirable as usual. Your work is always great by getting good daylight.
Thanks for your good work and have a good day!

Hello Ulf - I like this shot very much. The POV, shooting along Fleet Street takes in lots of the architecture and the atmosphere of the area. The red bus is a good FP and I love the glimpse of the church. Strangely, for a busy street-scape, there is lovely airy feel to the shot. Nice work. Warm regards rosemary

Bravo pour cette vue très réussie avec une très bonne profondeur et qui transcrit fort bien l'ambiance des rues de Londres.

nice the view of the created depth of the Fleet st. with the church is St. Dunstan to cover the backdrop of the scene.
The red double bus creates contrast in the colours of the image.

Excelent clearity and good depth down the road, and the red bus is a nice addition to contrast in picture.
Vibrant town on a real daily-life fine image.

I love the dynamics and the profound perspective of this London urban shot.
The people, the double decker and all those differently styled facades make it very lively and thoroughly enjoyable!
Best regards from Rotterdam!

i love big cities and your nice picture here makes me yearn for London. As Gunnar and Gert say: The red bus is an eye-catcher here. Good perspective and the photo is sharp all the way, well done!

What a great POV on Fleet street ! You must have taken it from high above on the top floor of some building !
This is just typical London with the hodge-podge of different architectures, and of course the red double-decker which happens to match the red suit on the left ! Times have changed...
When I first went to London in 1967, businessmen with bowler hats and umbrellas were common, especially in Fleet street !
Thanks for sharing, and have a good weekend.
